Elder Team
Consistent with the exhortation of Scripture, CHCC is led by a team of Elders. This team governs, corrects, cares for (shepherds), and oversees the spiritual interests of the church. An Elder must be a Member of this church and lead a life that meets the qualifications of Scripture and embodies the calling, convictions, and commitments of City on a Hill Community Church.

Elder & Founding Pastor
Steve retired from his Senior Pastor role in January of 2026 but continues to serve as an Elder. In his elder role, he assists with teaching on Sundays, classes, and pastoral care.
Brock Peters
Elder & Senior Pastor
As of January 2026, Brock stepped into the Senior Pastor position. He leads our staff and is responsible for teaching the majority of the time, and day to day operations of the church. He also engages in pastoral counseling, discipleship, and life groups.

As an Elder, Dean assists with teaching, classes, pastoral care, and leads a life group.

DEACON TEAM
The word "deacon" is translated from the Greek word diakonos and means "servant." This word is primarily used to describe men holding the office of deacon. Meaning they serve the congregation, under the oversight of the elders.

As Ministry Director, Alaina is responsible for overseeing our staff and the day to day operations of the church. She also serves in care, discipleship, and is a part of our Administrative team, which oversees programming, events and focuses on church health.

As Ministry Support Coordinator, Mikaela assists with day to day operations of the church, helps lead our Education Co-op, and assists with the Youth Group. She is also apart of our Administrative team, which oversees programming, events and focuses on church health.

As worship leader, Stephanie leads our worship ministry. She also serves on our Administrative team, which oversees programming and events and focuses on church health.

As our Admin Assistant, Christy assists with daily operations, office work, & oversees our Welcome Team.

Missions Coordinator
As our Mission Coordinator, Gary is responsible for overseeing the missions efforts at CHCC. This includes identifying missionaries and ministries to support both locally and globally and overseeing the volunteers on the Mission team. Gary also leads a Lifegroup with his wife, Cynthia.

As our Women's Ministry leader, Sarah is responsible for Women's Ministry events and programming. Sarah & her husband, Nate are also Lifegroup leaders.

As KidCity Director, Maisie oversees our Children's Ministry, manages volunteers, and KidCity programming and events.

As Hospitality Coordinator, Adrienne is responsible for coordinating events that require food, meal trains, etc. Adrienne & her husband, Randy, also lead a lifegroup.

Compassion Coordinator
As Compassion Coordinator, Sherry reaches out to those who contact our church needing help financially or with certain needs. She builds relationships with them, shares the gospel, and brings needs to the Missions and Admins teams for approval.

Go & Be Coordinator
As a Go & Be Coordinator, Julie helps us connect with and serve families in the community. This includes coordinating weekly grocery bags for families in need in Olivet Schools, Thanksgiving baskets, and working to get the venison donated by Hunters Against Hunger into the hands of families in need!

As a Go & Be Coordinator, Nicole helps us connect with and serve families in the community. This includes coordinating weekly grocery bags for families in need in Olivet Schools, Thanksgiving baskets, and working to get the venison donated by Hunters Against Hunger into the hands of families in need!
