Rehearsing God's Faithfulness - Pastor Transition Service
When I look back at all that has happened in the twenty-three year history of CHCC, I can’t help but be in awe of God’s faithfulness to our church body. I can remember sitting on our back deck, praying with my wife and two other couples, asking God to lead us as we started the process of planting a church in Olivet. Every step of the way, from the non-profit paperwork, the acquisition of a building, the growth of a multi-generational body, and the development of a spiritually mature staff and leadership team, God has faithfully provided for our every need.
Today, as we transition the senior pastor role, we want to take time to rehearse God’s faithfulness. It is my prayer that by the time we finish the service today, we’ll all agree with what the apostle Paul promises in Philippians 4:19 (NIV), “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus!”
In His Service,
Pastor Steve
