Faithful and True: God is Faithful

From the Heart! - One of the overriding themes in the Bible is the repeated declaration that God is faithful! We see this throughout the Old Testament in His continued work on behalf of the people of Israel. We see His faithfulness in the New Testament through the life and ministry of Jesus Christ our Lord. The Bible gives us overwhelming evidence of God’s faithfulness. 

But when we find ourselves in the middle of a trial, we often lose sight of all that God has done for us. Instead, we shift our focus to our problems and forget everything else. This is why God repeatedly commanded His people to set up memorials that would remind them of His faithfulness. Remembering God's faithfulness in the past can be a great source of courage in the present and hope for the future. Our faithfulness to God is fueled by His faithfulness to us!
