The Book of Acts: Lesson 15 "Paul's First Missionary Journey"

Every single one of us is called to be on mission with Christ. This can look many different ways. You may be called to an international mission. Or you may be called to be a missionary right here in Olivet. The role of everyone of us as missionaries is to proclaim the Good News of Christ. We are looking at Acts 13 for our example. In this context, Paul and Barnabas helped the Israelites to recognize God’s faithfulness in the past, and, more importantly, pointed them towards salvation through Jesus and what he did on their behalf on the cross. Similarly, we are called to point people to Christ. We do this through prayer and fasting along with sharing our story of salvation with those around us. As we pray and fast as a church, be praying that God will make your mission clear and then be ready to follow Paul’s example and boldly proclaim the Good News of Christ!
