Using Your Talents For God’s Kingdom

Today’s message is the second in our series on Biblical Stewardship. In this series we are discovering the importance of caring for the gifts, talents, and treasures that God has given us as children in His Kingdom. Through this morning’s passage, we’ll shift our focus to the talents (the spiritual gifts) God has given to each believer by the Holy Spirit. 

When you became a follower of Jesus Christ you were given a salvation package containing incredible blessings from God. These blessings include things like: The forgiveness of your sins, eternal life, a home in heaven, and spiritual gifts that have been deposited in you by the Holy Spirit! These gifts are specifically designed to help you engage in the life and ministry of a local church. It is in this context that we use our spiritual gifts to build up and strengthen one another as the body of Christ.
