Discerning the Times: Lesson 3, "No Other Gospel"
We are living in a time when there are more voices than ever competing for our trust, our loyalty, and even our faith. Scripture reminds us that if we do not know what God has truly said, we will be vulnerable to believing what everyone else says. Jesus promised that His sheep would know His voice—and that promise calls us to stay close to Him through His Word and by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Discernment is not about suspicion or cynicism; it is about love for the truth and faithfulness to Christ. Paul’s warning in Galatians still rings true today: there is no other gospel than the one centered on Jesus—crucified, risen, and reigning. Our hope is not in teachers, movements, or personalities, but in Christ alone. As we grow in wisdom and understanding, may we learn to listen carefully, test everything by Scripture, and follow Jesus with humble, discerning hearts until the day of Christ.
