Chad Whitcomb
Assistant Youth Director
Hey Church family!
My name is Chad Whitcomb. My family and I have attended City in a Hill Community Church since 2016, and right away, this Church and its body have made me feel right at home. I didn’t grow up a believer in Christ and came to our church at first because I prayed for a wife and family, not truly believing yet, and because God had blessed me with that, I knew I had to at least give Church a chance. Since the first service, I instantly felt conviction of how I had lived my life, and shortly after, gave my life to Christ, and ever since have looked for prompting from the Holy Spirit to take more steps of faith. I have been serving in the youth group for a long time now, and that has been such a blessing to see kids grow up and connect with them. I also serve in KidCity check-in and lead a lifegroup with my wife, Katrena. I have 3 children, Nathan, Noah, and Kassidy. It has been such a great experience to see my boys grow up in the youth group and see how it has solidified their faith. I look forward to my youngest daughter being a part of it as well.
I felt called to this ministry because scripture clearly tells us how important children are. Being a part of the next generation of believers makes me feel humbled and honored to be assigned to this role.
