Our Story

We were just a few faithful followers meeting, dreaming, and praying on a back deck. Over time, it became clear that God was calling us to plant a Biblical church in our hometown of Olivet. In 2004, we purchased a storefront on Main Street in Olivet where we gathered until 2009. During this time, God grew and refined our leadership team and helped us establish  our constitution. 

We took a leap of faith and rented the Olivet High School Auditorium which increased our space dramatically. Every week our team would set up and tear down for service.   It was great to have the space we needed, but hard to carry out each week. Thankfully, in 2014  an old theater building on Main street became available.

We didn't know how we were going to do it financially, but we we prayed, sought the Lord, and took another leap of faith. We can't even put into words how awesome it was to see God provide in such amazing ways throughout the process of purchasing and renovating our building.  We're so thankful for the spirit of unity and hospitality that God continues to grow in our church body.

In each of these moves, none of it was done in our own strength. But through prayer and seeking the Lord’s will, He helped us to step out in faith each time. And now, we are at a point again where we have to consider our space and prayerfully seek the Lord’s will. We hope you'll pray with us as we consider our future!
