I was born and raised in Olivet, MI. I graduated from Olivet High School and then attended Olivet College and obtained my teaching degree. I began employment at Olivet Middle School and went on to get my Professional Counselor degree from Liberty University. I am currently working on my administrative certification through MASSP and have recently been hired as the 4-5 Principal at Olivet Middle School. My wife Nikki and I have 4 children from the ages of 14-5. 

I attended church sporadically as a child. It wasn’t until I met my would-be wife in college and began attending church regularly. We have been partners at CHCC since its beginning. I have served in Kids City the entire time. God called me into church leadership in the role of deacon approximately 5 years and have more recently joined the safety team.
